View Full Version : Strut Brace
Hey guys,
I recently traded in my 330i for a M3, I had a M Strut Brace which I stalled in my 330i for about 12 months. It should fit all the E46 and 01'-02' M3. Anyone interested in please make me an offer. I could install it for you as well.

Welcome Ernest.
Would you please, post a price, even as a starting point. Many thanks...
May be interested.
Hi, thanks for the reply. Actually, I have no idea on the price. One thing for sure, I got ripped off by BMW, the 330i was the first bimmer I had, I bought the whole set strut brace from the dealer which cost me over 650CDN. For sure, it's not going to cost that much in terms of value. Any idea on the pricing? How much does it going for usually?

Used OEM braces with all the nuts and bolts should go for something like 2-300 depending on condition.

My apologies in advance but I am going to ask a stupid question.
What is the purpose of the strut? I've seen it in cars but what exactly does it do? Does it increase any performance?
I've read some technical info before I got it, but forgot them all... it increase the stiffness of the car's body, allow your car to turns in quicker. I do feel some improvement after I installed it, hope it helps. I am sure you could find a lot more info from the internet...

It looks good.
From what I hear, the rear one does a lot more than the front one because the BMWs are already built quite well in terms of stiffness. Helps in turning hard without roll and looks good in yuor engine bay. :D
This strut bar is for M3. Will it fit the 330 also?
As I mentioned in my early post, I used it on my 330i. It also confirmed by all the members that it fit all e46.
