I hope so, that would be neat.

If it is raining take it VERY easy. Mosport eats cars when it's wet.

I'd like to go just to take pics. Maybe I'll come up on Sunday if the weather is good.

didn't sign up b/c I have too many things to do this weekend. But I'd be interested in maybe coming up for half day on Sat. What time you thinking of heading up? Maybe I head up with you and watch for a few hours..

What's it like for spectators?

Peter - PM me the time you expect to drive up

The Trillium driving schools are fun to watch. Tonnes of cars from every make come to these, unlike the Porsche or Ferrari days where they don't let the "other marques" come to the school.

You'll also see some race cars.

Schmooze a few of the instructors and you can probably get one of them to take you out for some laps as a passenger in their car. That will be a real treat if you can pull it off. woot

Rick, I'll be tip-toeing around track. Total n00b here! Hope to see you there with camera in hand  Not particularly looking forward to the humid weather, though.

They are holding some BMWCCA races this weekend too (on Sunday, I believe). I'm not sure what you can actually watch in terms of the driving school, tho. They want us to be there by 7am on Saturday morning

Hey man, I'm new here and this will be my first time going as well. I'll try and post some pics of my car later today for a proper introduction.

Anyway, I think there are maybe 5-6 new guys to the school from what I've heard, so I'll probably see ya there.

Whereabouts are you going from?

We'll be in front of Chapters. Pretty sure it will be empty, so you can't miss us!

What a great weekend! This is by far the best mod you can do to truly enjoy your car: a driver upgrade

Between the track, class, and skidpad sessions, there are so many things to absorb and learn, and it all starts to come together at the end of the second day. It's also a very humbling experience but hugely rewarding and satisfying. The instructors are top-notch and very patient - especially with a n00b like me, my instructor took his time to get me comfortable with the line before going at speed, and giving me constant feedback throughout each session. Most excellent!

We were also lucky with the weather - dry track and a nice breeze (although it was HOT).

I took a few pics (http://www.e46toronto.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=11134) of some of the cars there - a good mix of BMWs and others.

Who's in for September? :D

Man, I'd love to track my car but I can't be bothered to get a roll bar or hard top at this point :(

Did Derek give you guys a track walk on Sat? I wish I can do that again.

He did! Gives a whole new perspective (literally and figuratively) to each corner of the track. Brilliant.

That's a great shot of the track you got.

The track walk was really cool as you really see parts of the track much differently at that level.
