Peter:
Just want to say a big public thank you for the winter tire hookup. Transaction went smooth as silk. Your help was very much appreciated.
Wayne at Atlas Tire was great, and the guys at Tireworks did a superb job. Total price for 4 Viking 225/45/17s, installed on my 44s, balances and tax was $640...very happy.
Shout out to Claudio for the great install and for adjusting the FKs.:)
For the westend guys, I highly recommend http://www.tireworks.ca/ They are even better the eastside's Steelcase, and that is saying something. Both places baby the tires and rims. Along with mine today was a 3, a 7 and a G35...

just wondering... how is it better than SteelCase???
what kind of "special" service they offered you???
I personally found that SteelCase has superb service... if it's better than SteelCase... it must be really good...

Less hectic and personal service with a smile. Steelcase is great, too, but oh so bizzzzzzzzzzzy...

WOW... Your all welcome and thanx for the "Thanx"...just trying to help the E46 gang out...
ANT>> Let me know how you find those Vikings this winter as I'll need a new set next winter.... I hooked Quickid up with some Hankook snows and they look nice and aggressive too as a choice down the road.
Glad everyone got a great deal on the tires they wanted..

Does anyone know the quality of Hankook tires? Not just winter tires but the brand name itself in general.
I bought a set of rims that come with Hankook VENTUS K104 tires. I don't know much about them and I'm wondering if I had made a mistake.
They are cheap though!

I always thought the Ventus was a BMW mainstay. I've only realized recently that Hankook is maker of one of the cheaper tires...
I've seen them on some cars...depending on the model Hankook..they don't last long... ~50K The snows are good though WT404 I believe
