Posting for all you Nissan/Japanese import lovers.
If this is rumored to come to NA/Canada. The M3 (CR-V...) might have to go.
As long as it is a V6 Turbo !!!!!!

Very nice.
Although, according to the law of "too much of a good thing", I believe you and Irene are prohibited from owning BOTH an M3 AND a Skyline GTR :D
It looks totally different than the G35 base GTR that floating on the internet a couple years ago! Eric, you should get this to replace your cr-v! both are awd... :yak:

Yeh, since we can't get a a proper R32 or R33 GT-R V-Spec I'll take the NA spec Skyline.

The M3 will stay as the girl car.
The Skyline will be the 1000hp beast :}:
This picture came out like 2 years ago? It's just some genius' at work with Photoshop, obviously based on the R34...
You guys have seen pictures of what the next GT-R is supposed to look like, right? It's still pretty much in concept stage (I think Nissan actually had it in one of the auto shows in the States 2 years ago; my friend who went took some pictures and sent a few to me). I think the only thing that follows the Skyline tradition is the after burner lights.
A few years back I was even thinking about importing a used R33... :)

Huh? I wasnt aware of any "age" rules on bringing a car over here so long as its converted to Canadian regualtions! Please explain. What happens if you buy a car form USA and want to register it here? :Idunno:

we brought two cars from the US that were 1 year and 2 years old...so maybe he is just refering to cars that arent sold here normally? :Idunno:

I mean 10 years rule for importing cars that don't pass the "regular" import requirements... no need to modify it to follow Canadian regulations...
like there's no way to modify a RB26DETT to fit into Canadian emission standards...
I am not 100% sure though.. that's what I heard/read from the past...

i saw the spy shot of GTR in 2000 summer..when i was in japan.. ~~ honestly b4 renault join the nissan..that was the idea of wat R35 GTR will look like... ~~and also... they planed to put a V6 3.0~3.5liter twin turbo for JDM GTR ( VQ33DETT ) ..other country will receive a V8 3.5~4.0 liter and hopefully to make a 400 hps.... and said they will release R35 GTR in 2002 fall ..but the stupid renault BAN this project... ~~and redesign skyline..and that is the G35 we have now...

i just found the magazine i bought in japan.. ~~ when honda knew the new R35 might come out and it will have a V6 3.3 TT ...honda also release some new concept of NSX... new look and new engine...personally i think because of the R35 was dead cause by renault...so Honda still give u the ALL NEW LOOK...but same engine :confused2 :thumbsdow ....instead of the all new V8 3.5 400ps...~

You mean HSC?
Yes, G35 is the new Skyline. However, the next GT-R is a totally different beast in terms of performance and look. To me it looks totally out of this world... I'm sure the final production version will be tamed down from the concept.

the new Skyline & new NSX was mentioned in Option Fans long time ago...
Toyota is also in the make of a new Supra... all run by 3.5-4.0L V8's

If it's fast as I think then you don't need to see anything from behind unless you're in reverse :D

I guess because we can't get these cars here they are legendary in our eyes. I bet in Japan, Skylines are normal.

there are at least 2 700+hp GT-R34 in HK...
I miss the R32 across from my relative's place in HK...
It would wake everyone up on the street whenever the guy started the engine in the morning. :D
