Dunnville Autodrome Sept. 20 2008

Some shots from yesterday's event at Dunnville. Short, tight track. Because the track was so small, the wait time to get on was way long. We ran all the way till dusk at 8pm, which was quite interesting. Night time endurance racing LOL.

I think the high point of the day was when the GT3 showed up (gorgeous car, and the driver was fast, too). Either that or when the red 350Z finally got kicked off the track for being a danger to himself and others multiple times.

Night time lapping sounds like fun. Never done that before. :thumbsup:

I ran with the red GT3 guy at mosport earlier this week. He has ton of experience at other tracks, hill climbing etc, cool dude.

Once everything got cleaned up, we were back on..Jay chasing down a 350Z

As Peter said, highlight was the red GT3 that showed up. Another noteworthy point - that red 350Z..he got black flagged twice in the first 30 min. We thought he'd be kicked out, but they let him continue. Luckily natural selection won out and he got selected on one of the turns. Overall, Dunville failed to impress me - a bit too short for my liking and certainly a bit too fast, too furious for me!

Haha... she only lasted 4 laps before she decided she had enough high speed cornering. She's quite brave though, and said she'd give it another shot. I think I'll have to start slowly with her next time... get her warmed up before going all out boink

I agree, Shannonville is more fun. I think it leveled the field though. I ended up passing plenty of more powerful cars. It was fun diving into the first few corners after the front straight.

Awesome, great photos guys!

Personally I like Dunnville, I like the cornering... it is tight and actually kind of difficult to figure out the line on some of them but once you do it's sweeet... And for the price you can't beat it. It's all about seat time :)

Shannonville is more fun, agreed, but it's also 2 hours away. Too far for a half day event (at least for us west enders) :)
