That guy is mad! Very skilled but mad. Wow.

Took me over 30 minutes to read the first page alone.

Not if you have an Enzo or a Veyron <edit> Okay, I've looked at the thread, and yes, it's a bit overkill for a $40,000 car (said the car cost him 20K pounds?). But, it's his car, so he wants to do it with a little extra TLC. That Crystal wax is crazy stuff. $10K??!!!! I wish I could be that meticulous.

Overkill for us. What Chrisstyles does, some would consider overkill. I would call it Very competent TLC for our cars. :}: And of note, the next time I buy a new car from the dealer, I'm bringing to Chrisstyles right away.

the most brilliant f*cking evo story every made. UN REAL.

The 51 wax layers?!?!?! holy moly!!! And the customized chromed engine parts?!! wtf!!! I thought that would add heat to the engine, though; maybe it would negatively affect performance. But lol with his 280 HP and over 300 ft.lbs. of torque I think he'll be okay, lol. Wow, can't believe the meticulousness and attention to detail from this freak. imagine he had a f*cking FERRARI.

I think it is a bit overkill yet impressed with his attention to detail. I used to be like that when I first got my car up until about 2006 when I realized I had better things to do.

You won't want to bring me to purchase a car. I may not have a paint guage but I'll pick out most of the imperfections. You can never have too much wax on the car however, he's got waaaaay too much time on his hands.

Actually, I meant that once I've made the purchase, I'll tell the dealer to forego their dealer prep/mutilation and bring it to you for proper detailing

actually the only problem with that, doc, is if there are imperfections in the car that Chris comes up with that would warrant the dealer covering the defects; it's best for THEM to hire someone that outsource to your external contact. I would rather THEY paid Chris for the prep work, which is something I'll try next time...
