Woohoooooo ...
After surfing fanatics, just finshed modding my remote garage door opener to be controlled by a push button next to the cig lighter.
Works like a charm ... so happy I did not buy the OEM homelink module for $300. This DIY cost me $5!

Yeah I did that mod along time ago. I still want to hook it up to my highbeams..... one day when I get the time I guess.

I just did this mod today cause i had nothing better to do, it looks much better, but my range sucks now

but that means burglars will find it more difficult to scan your code, especially if you don't have one of the newer openers with rolling random codes. :wink2:

Did mine a while back ... but I put it in the headliner where the OEM / UGO one would go, with a single black button.... almost looks like it's s'posed to be there!
