I installed a new supwoofer and amp along with a Pioneer head unit. Thought I'd a share a couple of pics.

The rockford fosgate amp and sub is solid. The guys that installed it in Niagara Falls, NY said it was one of the best sounding setup's they've heard especially for a 10" subwoofer.

Click here for details on what I ordered http://www.streetblitz.net/cardomain.mht to put the system together.

I have it setup so I can easily take the amp and sub out for track days without disconnecting the battery or having to do too much work.

And here's a pic that I took the other day...only decal I have on my car...I think I'm going to keep it....

I'm interested to hear how it sounds. I'm a pretty big fan RF, both in quality and design. . Have one installed in my 190E 2.3. I think the looks of the hardware is important when a theme is involved in modding the car.

Hey Pete,

Did you integrate the sub with the existing OEM speakers?
Do you have the HK or stock speakers?

I used to have a double sub woofer on my e36 328. It took 3/4 of the space.

Yeah I don't have much trunk space left at all. However I do have it setup so I can easily take the box out when I need (golfing, track days, out of town trips ect.)

I don't have the HK sound system and I am using the stock component speakers and I didn't need to mess with them at all. The amp is only powering the sub and the rest of the speakers are running off of the built in amp in Pioneer head unit. All I had to do was hook up the aftermarket wiring harness.

If you click here > http://www.streetblitz.net/cardomain.mht you can see all of the components that I purchased to install the system. I purchased all of this including the head unit with 3 pre-outs for aprox $800. Cardomain.com price matched the amp so I was able to get $100 off on it.

It's a great way to get some good sounding bass without spending a lot of money. I'm going to eventually replace the component speakers and buy another amp but this will do for now. Track number 2 (intro track about 30 seconds) off of the Freaky Flow live in Toronto CD sounds friggin awsome. :D Let me know if anyone wants it.

Hey Pete, you should talk to M32003(Franky) He owns a audio shop. He can get you some pricing for whatever you need. :)
