E90 Pics

here are some pics of the new e90 from the brochure....

im a huge fan of the I-drive and push button start....the fact that the hood is seperate from the grills, ZHP styles headlights with different size rings, gotta love the trunk lid and the shark fin for the GPS!!

I'm not a big fan of the overall shape. Maybe the creases are turning me off.. or is it the shape of the lights.... Ah, to each his own but it'll probably grow on me soon... Having said that, I just realized the E36 never did grow on me. :Idunno:

Im not feeling it much either. I hate I drive and the new two dials that house all the info. My GF's father has a new 545i, and the interior is very similar and I can't stand it. I will be keeping my e46 for sure. Im glad they didn't go to wild on the styling though, it still looks like a Bimmer up front somewhat at least.

The one feature I have real trouble with is the straightline dash and cabin. The E46 wraps around the driver like a cockpit whereas the new one seems more straight, cold and stark, like a control panel. Just my two cents.

I really like the performance specs however. :)

I don't dig it too much. I agree with CHopper about how everything in the e46 favours the driver and is tilted.

I like the front. The back design is :thumbsdow I've never actually seen it in person. so my views might change.

If & when you get it, any ideas on mods, if there are/ will be availble for it?

yea im sure it will take companies a while to get something out on the market...maybe 6 - 8 months or so...but BMW often allows companies access to a couple of vehicles so they can do some R&D for new products....like ACS and Hamman etc

In addition I do like the front bumper. That's a lot of little square patches on the front end though. 2 for the hidden headligth washer things and one for the tow hook I assume.

A couple more, and it'd be a mosaik art piece. Jersey, that colour Steel grey wouldnt be a bad choice.

:thumbsup: I like the look. It's also 4 doors. So that mean the coupe will probably look even nicer. The interior is not as nice as the e46 but I'll grow on it. The one thing I don't like is the window button. Why do they have to put it on the door. It's too Japanese man.

We like Jersey, too, so much, that Chris and I have taken steps to ensure a smoooooooth transition between our love for the e46 and our members who opt for the e90...it's all good...Jersey belongs to us. Forever! :)

Bad new, The new series are not coming out until 2006. I guess I can make a easier decision.

I used to love the E36 and when the E46 came out :0

I used to not like the new 5 series but now that there are a few 545's around the lot I think they look great. Can't wait for the M5.

The front looks aight. the back doesn't look right to me...but then again that's just me. Maybe next year I'll learn to love it... same thing for the 5series - I used to hate it but now it aint that bad!

I'm not sure...the E36 had disctinct lines and a fun-to-drive feel, thereby I still like that style too. When the E46 came out , many said it looked too much like a Honda, if you recall. However, although I cant afford a good 5 series, I am sure those headlights and trunk are still butt-ugly!!

People in general, men in particular, dislike change in any form. I, too, disliked the 5 at first. Still not in love with it, but I am changing my mind, slowly, especially when in a darker colour. A black, tinted, sports pack, 540i blew by me the other day. It looked amazing!


That said, the new 3 looks like it is not too much of an evoloution of the e46. I like it. The trick is to progress without forgetting the past. Very difficult to do.

Doesn't matter, still like the look of the 540i prior to new release of the 545i.
545i front is nice and the stock rims when theyre in motion. Not feeling the tail though. IMO.
