this was so amazing i had to share with the common public on the main e46 forum. i had no idea the shifter could be this amazing, totally stock. I feel bad stating the price at $200 in case the true cost for all the hard work and effort he and his team put into it is worth more than $200.

Honestly, this is the best mod i have ever done to any of my cars in my whole life. such an amazing feeling to be shifting the M like it's a race car. and it looks SOOOOOOOOOOO cleeeeeeeeeeean.

Can't wait to show this off to everyone at the next meet. I want Dipal to try it REALLY bad and see how his laptimes improve.

U are really excited about this mod...must be good, one of the other 6MT guys will have to mod-up for this then. So, who's next to get it??

What did he do to the stock assembly to make it shorter and less sloppy, this was a pet peeve of mine with MT ///M3's, after a while it gets loose.

Would love to hear more about what he did??

Rocco...any insight? He replaced that lever, the bushings, he was doing something underneath the car...drove to work this morning with a huge smile on my face...the knob height looks SO RACY now, I love it! Best mod I've ever done (have I mentioned that?), beats the AEM CAI, DC Sports 4-2-1 headers, Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust, and Eibach Pro Kit springs I put on my Civic 8 years ago.
