For who just starting to learn, Dagmar and Lakeridge are much closer. They are both in north Whitby.

Both Dagmar and Lakeridge are located on Lakeridge road, roughly 20 minute drive north of 401.

For avid skiiers these are big baby hills. Vertical drop probably less than 100ft. and obviouly there is no black diamond hills.

However for beginners they are perfect. Some of the hills are steep enough to be intermediate hills but the lengths are not long enough to intimidate you.

I have actually taught quick a few people at both places before.
