Just an FYI - don't know if anyone is interested but the Georgian College Auto Show is on this weekend in Barrie. We went last year and the BMW display was actually pretty poor - 1 new 7, 2 E46s and maybe a X5. No Z4, no 5 even though it was well into production by then. Actually the MB display was better - yeek. I suppose it is geared more towards the mass produced end of the biz.
But woohoo, you get to take a ride in a Porsche! (That would be as a passenger) :yourmyido

If you are referring to the Porsche thing, they set up a little parking lot course and take passengers out for a ride. Can't remember which cars, but I think there was at least 1 911 (not sure though). And yeah, you show up, line up and go ridin'!
Keep in mind that parking is somewhat tight at the show and there is an entrance fee (like 8 or 10 bucks per head). Don't get me wrong, it is a good show - basically an outdoor version of the Toronto show (without all the concept cars :p ). If the weather is nice, it is a decent afternoon out.
