DDE wiring interior light help

Hey just a quick question, i have my DDE halos wired up and running already, its wired to the ECU so it turns on everytime the car does but i want to tap the second wire so it turns on when the interior light turns on as well, i heard you use the footwell wire. Where is this wire located and colour of the wire? Is there a wire in the ECU box area that will do this job? If anyone knows it would be great. Thanks

Wire it exactly to the footwell. You have to take the trigger wire and wire it thru the firewall and tap into the passenger footwell light.

thanks! but wow all that work just to make it light up with the interior.... is it as hard as i think it is?

Seems like a lot but trust me it's not and well worth it. It's just so cool haha. Your just simply taking that trigger wire from your engine bay (since that's where your relay is) and running it into your interior. Then simply tapping into the nearby footwell light :)
