I have recently lowered my 2004 320i using B+G Sport Suspension springs. The springs were advertised with a 1.6 inch drop in the front and 1.4 inches in the rear. The car also has 18 inch rims, and low-pro tires. I am noticing that the rear wheels are rubbing the quarter panels when cornering, and/or when there is weight in the car.
Has anyone come across this?? Is there a fix that does not involve buying new springs??
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard Jonasl :)
BlueSky is right. Your wheels might be the cause of your problems. Lowering usualy does not affect OEM wheels or aftermarket wheels with the correct offset. If you get wheels with a very agressive offset or the wrong size tires then probles can occur. Give us some more info.

The wheels are 18 inch, replica M3 style. The tires are 225/40R18. I think the first suggestion of having the fenders rolled may work. Does anyone have any idea how much this costs?
Thanks again guys.

In Toronto, it costs about $80 a side.
Wow, rubbing witha 225 tire? I guess1.6' is a lot for lowering.

Rubbing with that size of a tire indicates that the wheels are the wrong offset for the car. Are you sure they are not OEM M3 18's with a +20 offset? There you will run into problems for sure :confused2

I really did not do enough research, and I am not sure what the offset is. I picked up the wheel and tire pacakge in Vancouver before driving back to Edmonton.
(I could not stand to drive the car one mile with 16" rims and hub caps).
Is there a way to measure the offset, or will I have to track this info down through the manufacturer.

Look for some markings inside the wheel. It might have it stamped there. There is a code like 6JJ or something like that. I have the code chart somewhere that converts to mm offset. Or...you could ask the manufacturer.
