Highly recommended.
Had some time at the Genius Bar at the Apple Store (Bluetooth connectivity problems!), so dropped the car off at Jerry's Valet/Car Wash in the Square One parking basement. Superb job. Very reasonable. They did such a great job, I dropped off girl's Mazda 3 after it had two months of reno dump runs. It was a frigging disaster. Went with the $175 'The Works'. They did a fabulous job. Car looks and smells new!
The owner seemed interested in sponsorship. Ever since the demise of the great Premier Detailing, we need a good detailer sponsor. Jerry? :)
Here's one of the cars in the lineup. A gorgeous Alpina B7. Pushing 6 and $$$$$$$$

Good to know, sometimes need a hand wash in the winter.
I would rather not have them drive my car around though.

Is Jerry's the same people who used to own it about a year ago? Should find out what happened with Shaun_Fresh's car and if it's the same guys:

I'm not one to usually do this, but this has to be said. I do not want others getting the same garbage experience as I faced today.
So my car was filthy as all hell, had God knows what all over it. I usually never leave my M to anybody's hands but a select few that I trust, but I figured the car was a pig, weather is nice, I would have no time in the upcoming days to wash it up, heck, let's take a chance and take it for a hand washing.
The place: Hand Wash and Detailing at Square One in the underground parking lot. A couple buddies (non-car enthusiasts) mentioned this place in the past and had nothing but good things to say about them. So I roll in, low and behold, a Bentley Continental GT is getting all waxed up. Sweet, I think...nothing to worry about. Hand over my keys, dude says come back in 45 min, cool...
45 min later, come back, original dude comes running out of some room telling me I was right on time, car was done. I was in a rush, and I figured it was a decent enough job, so I paid him his $15.75, took my keys, and quickly gave the car a once-over for any damage. They had parked my car in a dark area, so the car looked pretty clean...rims looked kind of filthy, but whatever. All is good, let's GTFO of here and grab a coffee. Get in my car, hmm, WTF, why is my seat's leather damp and my mats nearly drenched?
Anyways, on my way to Tims, I get a call from a buddy, saying he was at Square One and saw a black M3 at the wash place & wanted to know if it was me. Buddy goes "Dude, you better check your car, I saw some kid taking a brush to your ride and blasting 103.5fm from your radio, had I known it was your car I would've said something to them". I almost died when I heard this.
Pull into a Timmies, I get out of the car, and nearly pooped myself. The wheels were not even touched (they were dirtier than when I brought the car in), tire shine was all over the rims, the front bumper, hood, and rear bumper looked like somebody took a dry towel to them without even wetting, let alone washing the panels, and the worst part...the entire car is absolutely COVERED in surface scratches. The surface scratches are just gazillions of thin lines (lines are almost parallel) all over the bloody place because of the brush they used ON MY PAINT. In the sun, my paint looks like it's 14yrs old.
Nothing a good detail won't fix, but for F's sake, WHY?!?!?!?!?!?
Anyways, that's it for my rant. I will never let anybody but a professional and highly reputable detail specialist touch my car from today onwards.

As soon as I saw the thread title, I was ready to go searching for my old thread…looks like D was quicker to the draw.
Maybe my case is an extreme outlier, or possibly ownership has changed hands, but my experience with them as you can read above was beyond upsetting.

And my experience(s) were the complete opposite.
I guess if you go, ask questions re detailer. The owner and the detailer were both hands on and very careful with both my cars.

Its stories like these that make me never trust my car with anyone else. Sure, it takes me a good 4-5 hours to get the job done, but at least I know that the car will be babied.
