I've been registered on the board now for a few days, but just got the chance to announce my arrival.
I just bought a 2000 328Ci with the sport package last week.
This weekend I will be installing OEM clear corners, sides, and tails, as well as getting a five window tint done ( 35% all around).

My name is Ryan amd I AM CANADIAN :)
:Qboy: I think that's about it for now.

Welcome Ryan. how did you find out about e46toronto.ca?

Tell us more bout your coupe. Colour? Any other mods to happen.
If plan on saving money, don't talk to Jersey. He makes you spend a lot.
I'm still suffering from the mod bug.

I'm on e46fanatics as wjjeeper, as well as jeepsunlimited and maxbimmer, and about 4 local boards.

I used to have a modded WJ (Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000+) that had a 3" lift etc. etc.
So I'm not new to the mod bug.

The color of my coupe is Sienna Red, apparently kinda rare in the coupes. Anyway I'm planning on doing mosting cosmetic mods to make the car look classy and sporty at the same time. I love the way the car handles, but I might be looking to Shark the ECU in the spring and go with a CIA, and maybe exhaust. But for now I'll just do the appearance mods to get the panties dropping. ;)

I first heard about the board on maxbimmer and then after registering I saw a post on e46fanatics about the board.

I have a buddy here in Edmonton with a 01 coupe that I just told him about the board today, so I imagine he'll register too. :nerd:

Sienna Red. I don't think I've even seen a red 328ci at all. Classy & sport is what our whips are about.
Panties dropping...yes. :D

What's the BMW community/scene like out in E-Town?

Actually I don't really know. I know that there is a bimmer club, but I haven't been in contact with them yet. I'm one of those guys who owns a car b/c I want it, not b/c I want to join a club.
I also have a '65 Mustang Fastback that has 72000 original miles and everyone asks me why I don't join the Mustang Club. I give the same reason. :Idunno: Maybe I'm weird.

On a side note I'm hoping to get photos of my car up soon, but I'm going to wait until the tint is done and the clears are installed.

Agreed. I'm pretty a good portion of the members here to felt the same way until one day...we all ended up at a BBQ by the beach, and the rest is...

Nobody's weird. just unique.

Welcome, I'm from the west too. Do you live in Edmonton now or Toronto? $180 for tint is very good price. As long as they do a good job, little bit more is worth it. :)

Yeah I live in Edmonton. The place that I am getting my stuff done at is very reputable, and highly recommended. I ended up going to check out the shop, chatted it up with the owner and he told me he'd have his guy do it on Saturday (off the books) for $180.
He guaranteed me to make extreme attention to the dot matrix on the windows.
He ususally charges $300 + taxes for this job, but we seem to get along well, so he cut me a deal.
