I've tried to like it. But it just sucks. Sucks so badly.
Continuous rebooting, which means disconnecting the frigging battery.
Sound is not much better than FM Transmitter.
Loud clicking of the scrolling script.
A really duff piece of kit. If I was reviewing this kind of kit for Audiophilia, I'd crucify it. Even the flakiest piece I've reviewed for the magazine was not as bad as this.
FM's out.
What would you use other that Dice?
Thx.

I think the Dension Gateway 500 (http://www.dension.com/product/iPod-iPhone-car-adapters/iPod-car-kits/bluetooth-car-kits/gateway-500) is one the best out there.

Also check out USA Spec - the PA12 model.
I've been using this model for some time now without any of the issues you have reported.
When I was looking for options I also heard about the same issues u r experiencing. I then found reviews on this USASPEC unit which were great so i picked it up from Amazon for cheap and have been running it since.

Dice does suck balls,
I had one before and i needed to consistently reconnect it and the characters doesn't always show up on the head unit as specified. Also the aux input always messed up and needed reconnecting. Other than those big factors, it is not too bad
I sold mine to kaveh when i sold my car lol

Sorry to hear that Ant. While I wouldn't say that the DICE was the perfect iPod connector solution, I didn't have that many problems when I had it connected to my car. I hope you figure something out.
On a related note, I think you should have posted this, AFTER, you sold the unit.;)

No worries, Dr. Liked it for a while. Let's just say, it's idiosyncratic!
As for a sale. Never thought about that. But, being English, full disclosure. What! ;)
