Hi all,

just another new member here - bought my 2001 330Ci from Budds in Hamilton a couple of weeks ago. Got the Premium/Sport /w montana leather & HK, and am very happy. This is my first BMW, coming from a few Honda Preludes, and I'm still having a hard time wiping the grin from my face!

I actually received my first mod a few days before getting the car - a BMW M3 shifter from Germany - only took about a week to ship over. It was cheaper then buying local and I wanted a "lighted" shifter - might as well go OEM! Clears are coming next!

My only unfortunate mod was a fist sized stone to the front of my hood yesterday on the 401 - big dent (well, in my world) and tons of scratches... I was cringing as I saw it bounce all over the top of my hood... I think the 5 layers of Zaino that I managed to put down over the previous 5 or 6 days helped a bit, but now I'm searching for the best fix-it method - I had Budds re-spray the entire front of the car just before delivery as well, to remove all the stone chips.... this car may drive me nuts (but at least I'll go crazy with a smile on my face)...

Anyway, glad to be here - looks like this'll be another great resource,

cheers,

GTC / Brendon

Thanks for the welcomes guys!

m002 - I picked up some OEM touch up paint / clearcoat. Will give it a shot, though one area is dented, and I'll probably need it pulled out... :(

AjayB - I actually live in the KW area, Budds just had the color/option/km combo I was looking for and happened to give me the best price for my trade!

Hi GTC. Welcome aboard. Interested to know how you found out about e46toronto.ca? Standard question now. But interesting...

If you need dent removal repair, let me know, guys I have are great it. I'll be planning a dent removal session soon. Also for scratches and such, see the auto detailing banner at the bottom. ;)

If you got a ? or setup meets, don't hesitate to. Very friendly bunch here. Prepare to spend lots of mod money, probably have already.

Hi BlueSky, Regin8r!

BlueSky - the name actually has nothing to do with mods ... I ... am ... trying ... to ... resist ... modding .... Didn't work with the last car, probably won't work with this one either!
