It's too friggen cold and my car is too embarrassingly dirty to post pics. I am dying to take some nice shots of it, even though it's still bone stock.

...back to praying to the gods of spring/summer to return asap.

Here are a few quickies. I've had the car for 3 months and done nothing to it yet. I'll be taking care of that though. :D

Nice Yorgi. What you got planned? secrets

Picking up on Saturday:
BBS 19" CH's + OMP front strut bar and Wiechers rear bar, rear OEM clears
Near future:
SS brake lines, coilovers, DDE halos, UUC SSK, Solaris
Eventually:
Limited slip diff, shark injector, intake, solid bushings
Maybe:
mild tint, bodykit, brake ducts, swaybars, big brakes, camber plates

What rims/tire sizes did you go with on your summer shoe set up?

AlpWhitE46
03-11-2005, 03:53 PM
Yorgi: I have a feature on my camera for that...but no, those pics are with the aid of photoshop, i just used gaussian blur for that....very simple but yet effective.

Chris: lol , i have to get a tripod...my pics would be so much better, ill borrow it from a friend soon he doesen't use it anyways....who knows the pics will probably be the last of the baby...shes going away most likely :crying: :crying:
about the ps skills, lol its not really hard, just gotta know what to do, but iv been doing it for a while...and those are only quick chops.

audio: Thanks.

dw1: lol  sure thing, for my e46 friends!
on the side note, love the red, it looks so hot!!! that would have been the other choice from alpine white, red and white...nothing better! drool
about hte rims....thats just a photoshop, only thing i have on the car is the maxbimmer stickers...aside from that ( i doubt will even get installed i got at home) are the , carbon fiber overlays and CCFL angel eyes...
hopefully will be able to use it for the upcoming car boink boink

Here are some new pics with the newly installed BBS CH wheels. Size is 19x8.5" with 35mm offset. This is a '01 330Ci with sport and premium package.

Took these mainly for JD who's wondering if he needs to drop the car with 19's and only sport suspension.

Thanks Yorgi,
It looks good, maybe a little high but I guess the sport suspension was meant for 17 inch wheels. So how is the ride on 19's? Is it harsh? How's the handling? Did you notice any decrease in acceleration or power or speed? Thanks.

The ride is fine. Not much worse than the 17" snows I had on there unless you hit something big, which I try to avoid at all costs. Handling is awesome; just ask Audiophilia. :D The wheels came with PZero Neros and so far I like them.

I do notice a little less acceleration due to the slight increase in weight. I did not have time to weigh the old vs new wheels because the wife was outside waiting for me to finish the install so we could go out. snap

Uh, I can vouch for that....:D

The car look great, but as we are all Type As about our rides, there may come a time where you may want a very slight drop. H & R Sports would be great for you...subtle and a slight rake which would even out the drop...hope that makes sense?

Other than that, your ride looks awesome...your driving skills, too...woot

Ya, after seeing it for a few days now I'm beginning to think I need to drop it a bit. The prev owner of the rims has H&R sport and it looked str8pimp .

Track junkies need coilovers though. I'll be getting KW V2 or PSS9's eventually so I can set the height and spring rate to whatever I like.

Yorgi,
I was looking at your pics. I noticed you still have yellow turn signals out back, time to get some clear ones, they will look so much better, I have a set that I can sell for pretty cheap. Otherwise looking good.
