I think m002 & yansha need remote mods, PM them. Preferably before Bimmercruize.

Ok, aside from my halo, I'm going to order:

6500k Halo for Sunapollo
Remote Mod for m002

Anything else?

Tomorrow night is the deadline!

Hey guys,

I figured out the problem...the double sided tape came undone and the ballast was hanging there. The connection I guess came loose. I was jiggling the connections and the halo became bright again.

What happened was that iit became 1/2 illuminated....looked like current was going in one end, but not the other, so 1/2 my halo was dead (illuminated very faintly). The part near end was bright, and about 1/2 way near bottom of ring, the illumination just faded.

I'll have to find a better way to secure the ballast now.

Sorry to m002 and Sunappollo, I guess I won't be contacting Umnitza.

Thanks to Jersey for the tip.

Don't scare us like that Reg :confused2
I thought that there was a problem with our batch of rings.

I don't know what I would do without Halos now :D

Wait till you get bi-xenon lights then you can unplug the DRL's for sure.

That's good news for you Reg, although you really shouldn't scare us like that. I think most of us still check our HALOs everytime we get out of the car to make sure they are still working, etc. :D

I check them all the time. I think halos make you paranoid.

That's why I want to add a kill switch to turn off in the winter.
My question/concern would be, if they don't get lit up, is there a chance for the bulbs to crack due to cold or anything like that. Not a science buff so i know nothing about gases, imploding exploding etc in certain climates. Apart from keep fire away from gas.
