Heheh you're not the first person to think that way. My friend think that it's stupid to hang around with car fanatics and talk about their cars and then cruise around doing nothing. Well it's surprisingly entertaining and enjoyable at my 2nd meet. The first meet is just standing around talking about their car as expected heheh (Hannice, Anthony and Jersey) but after you get to know these guys and actually start hanging out it gets more fun. After that cruise to the Falls I was hooked :P

No guy. It wasn't too bad really. No black flies and almost no mosquitos at all. I think I got around 2 mosquito bites. Great time to go camping because of that but water is not as warm as in the middle of summer :(

Welp overall the system works pretty well (iPAQ + Belkin). Only thing is that when I was up north (algonquin park) the satellite signal dropped once in a while. Imagine that, satellite signal dropping....WTF. But when you get a bit south of algonquin park the signal locked on for good all the way down to Markham. The Belkin Nav software is pretty good too. You can zoom down to see road names. You can scroll the map while in nav mode. You can use it just to look up addresses. The Ontario map is pretty up to date. My friend lives in a new developed area and the map data already have those new roads while his 2004 MDX Nav don't even have those new roads yet :(
The positioning is pretty darn accurate.

Only complaint I have is that you can't do multiple route mapping. When you start and pick a destination it will create a route for you. What I was thinking is that I choose my own route and then it guides me there. Basically if the software can allow you to specify multiple destination would be awesome, for stop over and things like that. Maybe I don't know how to use the software yet since I didn't read the manual yet hehe.

Haven't used other Nav software yet but the Belkin one got a thumb up from me. Bought it from ebay for $180USD (bluetooth GPS + software).

Well, that was a wonderful evening -- for those who missed it, the dinner/cruz/'race'(!!!) had everything...great cars, good friends, great conversation, fun times, good food...and one hell of a cruz!!!

So many highlights, but best of all was the camaraderie shown by all members of your board. I know Chris and I were touched by the friendliness of the group and the excitement shown about our superb cars...we know that together, we can build this forum/club/group into something of which we can all be very proud!

Just for those who missed dinner, you guys missed a table dance!!!;) And for those who missed the cruz, well...the M3s and Ron...and of course Gary's inimitable 'leading'...to see Ron's Dinanmobile almost catch that M3 was :eek: ...and Yansha's modded 3 was awe inspiring -- great job on the car, Yansha!!!! Everybody was gaga over it -- it even beat the table dance -- just!:)

I don't know if it was correct but during that BRIEF session of high speed on Hwy7 that night my car didn't seem to perform right. I basically floored it but didn't seem to get that much power out of my car. I don't know, maybe it just seems that way because the Yellow M3 in front of me keep on pulling away :Idunno:

so sick wen i was waitin there in the parkin alot..turn my head i see the supercharged laguna seca m3..was gonna walk over there to ask if he was here for the same thing..all of a sudden..VROOM i turn to the right theres 5 pairs of halos rollin in with like 6 others behind it.only to roll in parked where i parked..wow sick meet.haha never been that hyped up b4.so i end this off with....WENS THE NEXT ONE?!WOO!
