I went to Cross Avenue Auto for the first time last week. These guys are the best. Sam is so cool and has an endless number of great stories to tell. Practically every mechanic there drives a heavily modded BMW and every one I talked to had great input on what mods are good/bad and other general maintenance info. I wish I had heard about these guys a lot sooner, I could have saved myself a fortune in maintenance on my older cars.
Thursday I brought in my wife's 525iT wagon, which was leaking fluids out of several places. They fixed all the leaks and fixed a nagging problem I've had with play in the steering that two other places could not figure out. I did not even mention the steering when I brought it in; they noticed the problem and suggested the fix.
On Friday I had my 330Ci in there for a final inspection before my warranty expired and to get a few suspension parts installed. The work done was excellent and prices were the best I've seen at an independent.
This might sound like a suck-up but it’s no coincidence everyone who goes to Cross Avenue ends up raving about the place.

Sounds like this place is worth a try. Anyone know how they compare technically to Bavarian Motors on Woodbine and 14th? Steve there is apparently very good, but he can be moody and seems to talk down to you, which I don't like.
I just got my car back from BMW Mississauga, and I think they screwed it up, but I can't prove it. Long story, but I need someone I can trust to diagnose this new problem.
Thanks!

I guess I'm another Cross Ave Auto convert. Was there this morning for the first time with the Z3. The service bar told me it was time for Inspection 1. Sam and his guys did the once-over, replaced the fromt sway bar links and I was out of there hundreds less that the dealership would have charged. I loved that they took into the service area to see what was what. I provided a first, too apparently - first time any of them had seen a Z3 with no aircon. (Apparently this makes the car perfect for supercharging...yikes...
Another satisfied customer...

Every contact there has been great. Just took our new-to-us '3 cab in. It'll be back there regularly for service.
Years ago we had a Dinan3 modfied coupe. They offered advice over the phone, and helped a lot. Can't say enough Good about them!

Thanks! My wife's '3Cab is Dinan equipped from this dealer. Great guys! We were made to feel very welcome when we showed up to buy the previous owner's mags/tires. We'll certainly go back.
A few years ago we bought an 02 coupe that was Dinan3 labelled. I had questions about maintaining the cold air intake. They answered all of them, and generously offered to help me when they heard I was recovering from a tib/fib break. Great people!

There pretty often, in fact was there tonight...3 x M3 on the lot and one in the shop. I know many of you go to RMP but only Sam's crew works on my M3!!
Was there last week and a beautiful Aston Martin Vanquish was in getting prepped for winter storage, a Diablo, M5, my M3, a few E36's...Going back tomorrow morning to pick up a new set of rims from Sam.
Super work, super crew and reasonable!

Just a note - Sam did a great job on my ///M, had some work done at Cross and they out did themselves. Car is running like a champ, they shampoo'd the engine bay, wash, wax'd and had the interior cleaned also. Rich's "Evil M3" was there as well, a nicely modded and boosted example of M3 excellence.

Each shop has it's strong suits, I like Cross because Sam, Jay and Pico (Ryan) take good care of my ///M. They are beyond knowledgeable and they are Dinan authorized shop which I like plus there is never a shortage of stunning cars to look at. Boosted ///M3's, an F430, old school Lambo, an S4 done up. Damn they have killer cars in there and the pricing is great.

I showed up at Cross with my 5wagon when it was throwing codes. I had to go back to Ottawa to see my sick sister.
Cross scanned them and gave me a print out. Incredible!
BMW service rep turned it around and made it a genuinely good experience. Class act. Problem solved.
Cross are the best. I was lost without them, and they didn't stand to make any money on it (under warranty.)
