Rennsport?

What's it like dealing with Rennsport from a Canadian perspective: brokerage, taxes, shipping, etc?

I've heard nothing but good things about them, but I want to buy, do a GB, or enquire re sponsorship in the very near future and would like the skinny....:)

Sam at Rennsport (if he is still there or not????) was a amazing person to deal with. The group buy on the PSS9's went smooth and much better than I had expected. He shipped to my work address. Lowered the cost for customs (a lot) and answered numerous questions that I had over and over.

I'm sure the other guys that work there are the same as the general consensus on E46Fanatics is of a great store with great prices.

BlueSky and Saridi have bought from them also and I think Stalker and Jersery too.

i think your best bet it to talk to Sam...he is hard to get on the phone sometimes but he is good about shipping internationally...he will mark down the value and make sure you dont get owned by duties and brokerage!!

I am not sure if they will do sponsorship though... I "asked" and the reply is "no"...

downside.. they are always busy and only use UPS... u can check for brokage fees at UPS's web site...

they're great to deal with, go tmy kw's from them and he got it shipped to me from canada so i didnt pay any brokerage or any of that crap. another good place to buy stuff if you wanna avoid shipping over the border is tunerworks in calgary, bought stuff from them a couple times and it's always been great.

The game idea is an excellent one!!!! Rent a couple of pickups with covers, go down on game day, cross the border in bills gear, then go to the ups hub pick up the stuff, go to the anchor bar or honey's, watch the game and cross back with all the other sports fans!!!

I like the idea too but i could care less about Da Bills. I'll just eat chicken. I'll make sure to wear a leafs jersey. ha.

I woudn't mind the drive. But don;t you think the customs would have that figured out already? A bunch of Canadians who've got BMW tuning written all over our faces wanting to cross the border for Da Bills? Why am I even arguing with Atty. Chopper... nevermind. :Idunno:

rennsports has good price. I was a little disapointed with my springs. I ordered last Sat. and I still don't have it yet. :(

it takes about 7 business days to send UPS from CA to here...

I buy all my stuff from Sam, great service and the best price. I get great deals because I have been dealing with them for awhile. Sam will value you item at whatever you want and is good with shipping times and keeps you informed of you packages. I actually find that the best way to get in contact with him is email, he is very good that way. He left Rennsport for awhile, but he is back now. Good luck guys. Im going to be ordering my rear Brembos soon and have them delivered to me in Maine, so no no tax, brokerage and shipping is cheap within the US.

it takes about 7 business days to send UPS from CA to here...I don't think so. My springs won't come in Rennsports until Tuesday. That mean they won't sent it out until the next day . That means I won't get it before the bimmercruise.

most of my stuff specially ordered for bimmercruise won't arrive until the week of Oct 11th... :angry:

if the item is in stock.. it will take about a week shipped via UPS ground..
usually it takes 2-3 weeks from ordering to arrival...

but if it's on backorder.. then no one can gaurantee the time...

Samir at Rennsport is awsome to deal with. He declared my acs mirrors and gruppe m intake for $20 so I wouldn't get raped on brokerage fees :D
