I got lazy and took my car to Esso for their touchless carwash after being dirtied by that crazy rain storm last week. Newayz, after the car wash I noticed a Chemical Residue/Stain left on the black trim that surrounds the side windows. I have tried washing and wiping it off but the stains are still there. Does anyone know what to use to get rid of it?

weren't those stains there before... I noticed it on your glossy black trim. you could try a gentle polish. nothing abrasive.
If you're going to touchless washes, purchase only basic wash. Nothing with any chemicals or soap or anything like that. Their chemicals are very harsh to ensure the car gets cleaned properly in 4 mins.

Ya there was some there before a while back but I was able to remove that with a wet cloth. However, this time it won't come off. What should I use to polish it with? Is it permanently damaged?
