No one here uses ATE? It doesn't have to be in the west end... Anywhere in the GTA is fine too.

Hi Jersey... I don't know if ATE is any better than Motul. It was just recommended to me by my old neighbour who races his E36. He swears by it so I'm just gonna give it a try. It's only a few bucks more than the regular DOT4 so why not?
I just cut and paste the description below from another site:
"This high performance Brake Fluid is ideal for coping with the extreme demands posed by motor racing, autocross, or high performance driving. Exceeds all DOT 4 requirements. Dry boiling point 536 deg. "

ATE Super Blue is same as ATE Type 200 just a different color.
Motul RBF 600 is better than ATE Super Blue/Type 200 because it has a higher wet/dry boiling point, but is twice as expensive.
ATE works fine for the track and is a much better than stock fluid. If you are not tracking your car you don't need the Motul.
You can get both at Raven Performance on Woodbine/Esna Park Dr.

Thanks for the input but I got the lead earlier from Gamite at maxBimmer. Another maxBimmer guy named Bruno sells ATE Super Blue for $17/liter and ATE DOT 4 for 11/liter. I thought I'd share with you this info. Excellent price and a great guy to deal with!!! Go to Bruno's web site www.racingking.ca if you need this stuff.

Bringing the post from the dead.
How many litres of brake fluid are required for all corners?

I liter should be enough to do a flush and fill the resevoir. Also, you might not want to get the blue if your car is under warranty, as it stains the resevoir and then dealers will know what you are running. ATE 200 is the exact same thing, thats a better choice then the blue stuff.
