just wanted to share some pics i took in Hamburg, Germany. Sorry, they're not in order...

i couldn't really find any nice bimmers that were worth taking pics of...but you'll see some neat vehicles.

I thought it was cool the Smart cars can park any which way. Imagine if Toronto was like that? Pandemonium. in addition to the poor parking skills, we got some of the worst drivers in North America.

It is weird that there werent too many modded bimmers. Those "Batman" bikes with the sidecars looked fun to be in. Even the rims were pimp for a side car.

I know....the smart cars are cool...you don't ever have to worry bout parking cause it can fit anywhere.

The major cities shoud be ok if you don't speak their native language I think.

Too bad we don't have a good European Delivery program like the US.

nope, not illegal at all. actually, everyone parks on the sidewalk there...and beside the curb too. so there could be two cars side by side...and it's all legal. if we allowed that in Toronto, it would get crazy....

i actually bought a german dictonary b/c i thought it would be difficult to survive....but i had no problems at all. maybe used the dictonary once...and that's all. All the cabby drivers speak a bit of english...and everyone that i worked with spoke english. i only had a bit of difficulty when i went shopping and to the restaurants...but generally, if you use hand motions...you'll be fine :)

by the way, i got a chance to check out the autobahn! didn't go fast tho b/c there was a lot of traffic on saturday...I arranged it with a BMW dealer guy over in Hamburg. He was extremely nice...he drove a diesel 5-series on the demonstration. he said that if i come back to hamburg anytime in the future, i can just call him in advance and he can arrange for a test drive with an M5 on the autobahn...he'd drive it as hard as the car can handle. he drives into work everyday at the maximum speed the car can handle!!! that is so sweet....
