does anyone know here how much I can get bmw 320i or 325i/ci in lease these days ? I checked bmw.ca but I'm sure dealer will give a better deal when dealing face to face, so I'm wondering what they go for right now including all tax and how much down (or 0 down) ?
any1 recently been to dealer and know the price ?
thx.

I haven't known people to get much better deals at the dealerships, but maybe someone else here does. I'd suggest NOT leasing the 320i. Better stick with the 325 or 330 models...many more features, power and options.
good luck.

Lease rates are very good right now on 04 3-series, about 3% interest on a 36 month lease. What BMW and other manufacturer's are trying to do is to support there Certified Series market, so they'll lease it to you for a good deal and they get it back in three years, with low mileage and it's a perfect Certified Series car. So the rate is 3% on a 3 year term, and like 7.85% on a 4 year. Even if you plan on buying it out at some point, the low lease rate will give you a fairly reasonable payment. As long as it's in the budget, a 325i is a far better performing car, and if there's a chance you'll keep it, the 325i will have far better resale value. The model year is also almost done, so if you can find one in stock at a dealer, or if they have a demo, you should be able to negotiate a fairly good deal.

I second that. October is the best time to buy the model year as they are trying to clear them out for the next year models. :)

You're buying a BMW. Congrats. No matter what model you get, you'll be streets ahead of the competition, no pun intended.
That said, I'd definitely go for the the 325, even though a significant step up. The fact that you are on this board, means that you may want to mod if you get a 320. You can make it into a stunner, but much easier (and much cheaper) to start with a 325.
Either way, though, you're going to love it. Good luck.
Get the pics on as as soon as it's home...:)

I have no problems with 330ci and it's at 75,000 km right now, I want to sell it before it hits 100k and CPO warranty is goo duntil 2006... so i'm just thinking what to get or keep driving 330

Huh? .....newer doesn't always mean better (for example- see Star Wars movies :D ). I dont think you will be happy going down to a 320i that's for sure, especially from the great coupe you have right now. Why not go down to a 325Ci...good compromise!

how much you think I will be able to get for a 2001 330ci 5speed in like few years with about 110,000km ? i'm just trying to figure out how much I'm loosing on depreciation....like I bought it a year ago for $38500 and right now it's probably worth $33,000 or so (so that's $5k in 1 year which is about $415 per month)... I can get a new 325i i think for $500/month, see what I'm getting at ? ya I think 320 is out the picture, 325i or ci for sure

Yeah, no doubt about it, these are expensive cars, however the depreciation is much lower over time than other cars, say...an Acura 3.2TL-S...
definitely consider the 325Ci! Remember, when you lease a car, you are paying the depreciation costs over those years, plus a little extra of course! :)

On a trade in, you will not get $33k for 2001 330ci with 75k kms. A dealership will sell it for about that amount, but the value they give you is book value which will undercut that figure by about $5k, you should PM M333EEE since he recently traded in his car and he will know what dealerships are offering.
IMHO, the cheapest car to buy is the one you own. What you lose in depreciation of the 330ci you won will not be offset by the amount you have to fork out for a new car. This is if COST is your only deciding factor. There are other intangible reasons to trade a car, such as wanting different options, changing colour, wanting 4 doors, getting an M3, etc. But if your only reason is COST, you should keep in mind the steepest depreciation curve is the first 3 years of ownership of a new car.
This is just my opinion though. :D

Reg's right. Your car's depreciation is leveling out right now...if you are planning to keep the new car, you will be paying MORE over time, but for just monthly finances/payments, it should be fine.

cause i own 2 of them, 2001 one silver, 2004 one blue

but the truth is. 320i's enginee heat up too fast...
soo must change the intake / intercooler
other than that, i thought it was a pretty nice car for the right price.
i never drive the 330i to skool cause i m afraid ppl will scratch it lol..

Dont mean to make fun of the 320i...it just needs a lot more additions/work to bring it up to some of the sick rides on this board. Better to start with a higher base.

Why is a 325 more desirable than a 330, I'm thinking: cheeper to maintain, easyer on gas and insurance...I guess I'm answering my own question!
