Well, with spring coming, it's filter time again. I was thinking, I wouldn't mind organizing a group buy for good quality air filters and charcoal activated cabin filters. If there is interest, then I will look into products and pricing. Post here for yeah or nay.

Count me in for charcoal activated cabin filters. As for air filters, I will be installing a K&N Series 63 in the Spring.

I looked at Canadianpartsonline, but I think that their filters are overpriced. Here is the link to Python parts:

A lot cheaper, local pick up and I am sure that given a large enough order, we should be able to bring the price down a bit, specially for the charcoal activated cabin filter. Still gathering interest and any feedback on sources is appreciated.

Cabin filter was $37.51 I did pay about $26 on a group buy in the fall, which I forgot the price was until today. Placed any order mainly for oil filter for car and truck
I also had free shipping on my order.

Can you provide more information on the $26 cabin filter please? Charcoal activate or just particulate filter? Brand, supplier, etc.

Usually takes 1 business day after ordering. I'd go to Part Source instead of Cdn Tire. Freudenberg is one of the 3 BMW OE suppliers.

Usually takes 1 business day after ordering. I'd go to Part Source instead of Cdn Tire. Freudenberg is one of the 3 BMW OE suppliers.

That is a good price, but that is for the particulate filter. The Freudenberg part # for the activated charcoal filter is BM99131C. Trying to see if I can get a price.

It was a Bosch (OEM) ACC Cabin Filter Activated Charcoal for $25.
The person got them from the states

That is good. I am not too worried with delivery times, I am more concerned with quality and price. Between fast, cheap and good, you can choose two.

I have been trying to get a hold of a source at pardon the pun but Parts Source regarding setting up a purchase deal on the filter just like Chris did with the oil back in the fall. Haven't had success due to my schedule and our inability to connect.

Overall, the air filter is cheapest at Python Parts for local pick up and being a quasi sponsor, it makes sense to just buy from Vinay.

The cabin filter seems cheaper at PS, again for local pick up. I will try to get both the Particulate and the Activated Charcoal filter included in and IF any deal can be worked out. otherwise the particulate one is actually pretty cheap there already.
