I am just back from the auto show. and I saw several members car on Career Acedamy's booth. :)

I took almost 5 GB of pictures today, I'll try to edit them and upload them asap. :D

I am done editing pictures for tonight.

I've only done 1/3 of the pictures I took today (and no, BMW wasn't within that 1/3), I still have a lot left to edit. And plus I'll be back taking more pictures tomorrow... whipped

I uploaded what I have so far up to my site. The pages for the auto show are very disorganised right now, I'll try to tidy them up when I have time this weekend.

i was actually there last night for the unveiling of the escalade. got to do a quick walkthrough of the show as well (no skydome). pretty nice stuff there. the new jag looks exactly like the AMV8. its calling u anthony

I need to choose colours on my M-Coupe - Can you please get some good pics of the interior from the roadster at the show. It looks like light sebring bronze? I'm torn between getting that interior vs. basic black. I am getting the Interlagos Blue which I believe is the colour of the roadster at the show.

The M Roadster in the show was in Interlagos Blue with Black interior. Interlagos Blue is a sick colour! I know because I've got one. str8pimp

I was there during the press day, and the media open day. Both of which weren't open to the public.

in the Grand Touring stand, they have 3 Aston Martin. A DB9 Coupe, DB9 Volante, and a Vantage.

I also noticed the 612 you took pics of, the colour scheme was hideous or does it look better in person? I like the 612, the interior looked great.

I never like the look of the 612. And IMO, the two-tune colour didn't make the car looks much worse than it already is. whipped

yes, that's the final product. IT's set to be launch in Geneva Auto Show within weeks.

it's very very fast with 610bhp V12, but you won't exactly be travelling in style. Front engine V12 Ferrari used to be a gentlemen's car, you had to be in tux just so the car will let you ignite the engine! But with all the vents, holes, and razor sharp edges, I feel like I need to have some scars on my face to be qualify to drive a 599GTB.

I think the last great V12 they made, look wise, was the 456GT, I liked the 575 too though.

I'll have to second that. I think the 456MGT is a very great looking car!
However, as far as 2 seater Ferrari goes, I do prefer 550M much over 575MM though. Although driving wise 575MM is a much better car especially the one with HGTC pack. :)

A buddy of mine out in Cali, his father has had a 456, it was blue with a dark tan interior, it was just stunning to look at, unfortunately the car was traded in a few years ago, but it was stunning. Simple and elegant. Not that fast though.

The actual show s***** ass. Three disparate locations, only a few concepts, and a sea of people. Any interesting cars, the doors were locked.

M5, M6, Z4, 550, etc looked amazing. Audis, too. C70 Volvo looks very sexy. New Jag was gorgeous.

MB is becoming a joke. Thousands of dollars for cheap plastic. Even a BMW on its worst day (new 3 passenger side interior) does not look as cheap and nasty as these. Far too many models catering to dross. Sorry, but that's the way I saw it today. Ugh!

Busing around three buildings in 25 below was no fun.... :thumbsdow

Detroit next year with any luck. Fewer people, one floor, tons more cars and concepts...

Show was okay overall. Nothing spectacular. Too many people on the weekends. Our cars were quite the draw. I hung around for 40 minutes and must have estimated that over 200 people went by.

Yes they are fully road legal in North American now.
