I don't know if this is the right forum to ask or not, if not, feel free to move it.

I have a very old (mid 60's) b/w pictures that was glued on a cardboard frame. The picture is the only one my gf has of her mom and dad and it is showing signs of deterioration. I was thinking that I could find someone with a high resolution pro level flat scanner and some photoshop skill to scan it in, clean it up and provide me with the raw files so that I can get dupes made to frame a proper picture (as birthday gift) and that she can share others with her sibblings out in Alberta.

Can anyone help? Willing to compensate appropriately for the time and efforts.

Thanks.

Do you already have a scanned copy? I'd be interested in doing this for you...

Where abouts you located?

I don't have a scanned copy, I need someone with a very high resolution flat bed scanner (pro level). I am located in Richmond Hill, but work by Vic Park and Sheppard. I am able to go anywhere in the GTA to get this done right. I wouldn't trust the shops as their priority is usually "get it done fast, and charge as much as you can" type of thing. Really appreciate your offer if we can get it scanned somehow.

Thanks

That MF device scans at 600x1200 dpi optical resolution@ 48 bit. For photo quality images, the minimum I would look at is 4800 dpi optical resolution @48 bit. If I can find someone to scan the photo for me, then I will definitely take you up on your offer to work some pshop magic on the image. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate this.
