Strange.....

Lately, I noticed that whenever the car is around 60km/h, I need a good push on the gas peddle for the car to move. If I slightly push the gas peddle, a strange 'hum' comes from the engine bay. The 'hum' will disappear if I push hard on the gas peddle.

Does anyone know if there is something wrong with the engine/fuel system????

I will take this in but it's very hard to describe it to the technicans. Just want to know if anyone has the experience with their E46?

Either you have a automatic tranny or your rims are big and heavy.

Could be the TB. B4 starting the car..try to put it in position 2 for 10 secs (this is s'possed ot reset the TB) then move to start. See if there's any difference.
