I know some of you may think that this is a stupid question. But is it too early to put on my summers? Well in my case to bring out my car? ... cause it already has the summer tires on but its stored away for the winter.
The reason why i ask is because i know the summer low profiles work properly with the right temperature. Hence, you get the proper traction.
If its too cold ... then there may be no grip and it could be a dangerous trip up to Niagra ... with the car sliding and drifting. And i am not a professional drifter like JEFF.
And from our previous cruise last year ... i know that us as a pack hit some high speeds of around 200km.
What is the PROPER temperature to be driving with the summer tires.
Is it safe to bring out my ride for the cruise???

I know some of you may think that this is a stupid question. But is it too early to put on my summers? Well in my case to bring out my car? ... cause it already has the summer tires on but its stored away for the winter.
The reason why i ask is because i know the summer low profiles work properly with the right temperature. Hence, you get the proper traction.
If its too cold ... then there may be no grip and it could be a dangerous trip up to Niagra ... with the car sliding and drifting. And i am not a professional drifter like JEFF.
And from our previous cruise last year ... i know that us as a pack hit some high speeds of around 200km.
What is the PROPER temperature to be driving with the summer tires.
Is it safe to bring out my ride for the cruise???

I agree the average speed on a cruise like this will be around 120km/h in a 100 we will be in no rush at all. Time to put on the summers buddy. woot

well i know the one time that i was meeting someone from kw to go to a meet, we met at the wendy's/timmies at the top of the hill where #6 and dundas street meet clapison's corners (pretty sure thats the name, not 100% on the spelling tho) anyways that seemed like a good place to meet, cause if you head down the hill you get onto the 403 right away and your off, i'd guess that it's 20 or so minutes from there to the meet spot since there will be basicly no traffic, w/e is good for you is good for me, if you or someone else who wants to meet up knows of a better spot, like the carpool parking lot at hwy 6 and 401 that is fine with me too. see you sat :)

Man i took the car out today from storage ..... and i got to tell you ..... its just feel GGGRRRREEEEEAAAAAATTT !!!!!.
Man i had a smile on my face the whole time driving today.
What an AMAZING experience .... i also had to get used to number of looks and stares ... lol.
Its been a while ..... but it was definately WORTH THE WAIT.
Now i definately cant wait to cruise.
Going in tomarrow (Wednesday) to the dealership for Inspection I or II ... whichever it is close to .... getting it ready to stretch its legs on Saturday.

Really fellas, it's no big deal. Chance of a thunderstorm means that it probably won't rain at all. Even if there's some rain in the forcast, they are predicting 1 mm of rain. that's about as much water on the ground as if it were to mist.
