i have boomerang...67 out of 67 recovered in Peel region..80% in under an hour..it costs a bit but is worth the piece of mind.

According to the Insurance Bureau of Canada the anti-theft system that comes with all BMWs does not pass their standard test.

The IBC recommends installing an immobilizer. Apparently there are only 4 aftermarket models (other than the OEM factory installed tested and validated by them) that meet their standard:

Autowatch 329 Ti Immobilizer
Mastergard M6000 Immobilizer
Mastergard TK Immobilizer
Powerlock Canada Immobilizer

The Boomerang is nice to have as a second line of defence.

Does anyone know how much the Boomerang costs? How about the 4 immobilizer above?

Feedback will be appreciated.

basically, if you combine the coupe and the cab under ''3 series - 2 door'', it would equal 590 stolen and would earn #2 ranking.

Cauz I don't see them breaking the Subaru WRX into, 4 door sedan, 5 door wagon, WRX-STI :Idunno:
