Magnus drove all the way from windsor to meet you guys (I think he's just here for the chics but lets not burst his bubbles) so come out and meet. I say Wednesday night at Duffs since we missed it last time. So who's up for a wing meet at Duffs this Wednesday Oct 13th at around 6pm or 7pm?

it's in Leaside/Lawrence park which is among highest income per postal code...pretty safe....I park on side street or on main Bayview often for gelato or coffee, no issues...
well lighted.....only on cheap Tuesday there is lots of kids

I think the Bayview strip just south of Eglinton is pretty classy. I see alot of nice car there before and parking on Bayview (both side) is good, street is wide enough that you won't get scratched. The question of car safety never crossed my mind when I park there.

it is a high-end area...i haven't had problems parking there....maybe we should try to stick together and park along the same strips on both sides. we should call ahead of time to reserve a spot so they can accomodate all of us.

and...driving from east side of Brampton all the way to Georgetown then back to Toronto bleh...gas and money go poop heh

I didn't eat the hot stuff. I sweat over a beef pattie, so I don't have much of a "spicy" tooth. I saw erics going red at one point though.
Parking was a biatch though. I did find parking in the residential neighbouhood which didn't cost anythin. However when we got back, there was a mini parked right up behind. Without about an inch to spare. Barely.
Street parking looked insane. Eric and I took a little cruise in the M3 to find a nice parking spot as the pick up that pulled up behind Eric was a little too close too.

it's gonna be hard to meet on a weekday cause we all have work/school/commitments. i agree about meeting early on sunday..get in and out before the rush...we can't do it this weekend cause of bimmercruise...but next weeked sounds good.

i Love DIM SUM! We should definitely plan one. Eric and I know a really good dimsum place in Mississauga but if the majority wants to go to the east end, its fine with me as long as there's good parking and the restaurant is clean. :)

there are just way too many dim sum places on the east end... most of them on Hwy 7 are good & clean...
I know this one in First Markham, really good order a la carte.

I hope you're not talking about the "modern teahouse" in the south east corner of the mall. It's good but too small to accommodate. Beside that one I can't think of any other restaurant in first markham that serves dim sum :)

best chinese restaurant is the name....it's besides the sanghai dim sum place......left side of the mall when you driving towards it....south east side....enough space for all of us and the cars.....
there is no push push carts, you check box a menu and they cook it....yummy so fresh and hot.......
can't do push push carts, got burned so many times with soggy warm to cold dim sum....

I prefer made to order dim sum, not push cart style. I don;t like cold food except sushi/sashimi/cali rolls.
