how about FINSTMT or IAUDITU?

I think I also got mine for therapy purpose....got to stop flying down the highway and push top speed.....a custom plate is easy for people to remember therefore I got to drive within reason.

I wrote a "Aggressive drivers exam" at the Barrie police station a few winters ago.....funny and useless exam to get myself out of speeding ticket. Got pulled over for doing 70 in a 50 zone after snowboarding.

I have the application form and it says that you can't have more than 2 numbers for you choice..... Letter 'O' is also considered a number in this case.

Audiophilia, Sunapollo === so I ordered my custom plate like 2-3 weeks ago, the machine asked for my credit card and driver license.

So when I get the plates in the mail, what do I need to do?
1-Do I need to do a transfer from old plate to custom plate?
2-The green ownership document, will they send a new one or do I need to follow up with the MTO?
3- Sticker, will they issue a new one or do I need to recycle old one?

1) Yes you need to do a transfer ... Just go to MTO office with your new and old plates, ownership, insurance, IDs ...
2) They'll give you a new ownership right away
3) I believe they'll give you a new sticker ? dont remember ...

When I got my bimmer I got the dealer to get me new plates (not personalized) and it came with a sticker. I brought my personalized plate to MTO and got a refund on the existing sticker but kept my plates. So I got my personalized plate sitting in the garage collecting dust hehe.

Honestly, I didn't put up much of a fight when they asked for my old plates. Maybe if I were more adamant about keeping those plates, I would be able to.

I would only surrender if they credit me the plate cost.....when it comes to tax and government, I am not giving them an extra penny....very bitter in that perspective...will see when I get my plates

Well the problem was that when I got my personalize plate I was a noob and didn't know what is going on hehe so when they asked for the old plates I just gave it to them :p
Dang now that I think of it I should have fought with them to keep it since it did cost me money! For sure they're not getting my personal plates because it costs me like $160. And no Oyster it's not "RICE ENG" :D

Ok so I went to the MTO

They confirm

1-If I have regular plate and transfer to personalized plate >>>

a-I would surrender regular plate and they transfer the sticker for free.

b-If I want to keep my old regular plate, I need to purchase new pro-rated stickers for the personalized plate.

2-If I have personalized plate and transfer to another personalized plate >>>

a-You can keep old personalized plate and they transfer the sticker for free to the new personalized plate.
