I have the stock Business CD (no H/K) and have been thinking to replace the speakers. The front and rears are the mid-bass 6.25" 2.75"depth 2ohm while the tweeter is 1", 1" depth 8ohm unit. Any recommendation on drop in replacements? Once I am happy with the speakers, I may go in for a separate amp as the tiny little one in the trunk looks quite under rated.
I now that with the 6.25" to 5.25" bracket, It leaves a whole world of replacement choices but with the costs of the brackets (set of 2 for $50), I would rather spend on drop in replacement unless the 5.25" speakers are a lot higher quality and performance.
