Huge thanks to all who attended and supported Team Premier and e46toronto.ca at bimmercruise today. What an amazing group of people you are. The weather was terrible and the overall show organization lacking, but you folks were there to represent and we had a damn fun time doing it...thanks again.

...and special congrats to Yansha for his wins and Andrew (tho not actually representing us, but he's a friend) for his placing. Great job guys. Your cars are awesome!

Thawing out in deepest Mississauga,

Anthony

Anthony would like to thank the e46toronto members that showed up to support us: Oyster, Rice, Dieselgrl, Chopper, vm-323ci and all the friends and family of Team Premier that showed up as well.

Weather s***** ass. I feel like I'm coming down with a cold now.
With all due resepct to Randy and Bimmercruise organization, we thank them for doin this annual event, however, how about plannin it during the warmer months and back on pavement.

Congrats to Yansha for bringing 2 home for Team Premier. Congrats to E46 for brining 1 home to e46toronto. Man, I felt like e46 was a seriour outkast there... and yes I was reading between all the lines during speeches.
But who cares, we represented, a lot of people know we are now, so expect more members to be joining in the near future.

Team Premier, thank you for your committment, we're only gonna get better and bigger. We;re nowhere near finished to what Team PRemier will look like by next summer. heh heh heh.

CONGRATS TO ERIC AND ANDREW :yourmyido :D :yourmyido :D

Our first Team Premier showing and the halos were blazing, cards were being given out and Eric (Yansha) drew a big crowd as soon as he opened his hood. E46Toronto.CA can only get bigger and better :}:

Forgot to thank Eric & Irene for letting us use the playhouse as a meeting point y-day morning. Thanks for letting me wash my car.

irene, the madelines were awesome. Can i order a special batch? I think you should open up a bakery. More power to self-employement.

Felt like real life "Transporter". All the Bimmers outside, getting washed, girls in the house with baked goods. We were only short of a Frenchman showing up at the door with a milk delivery.

A special thanks to Team Premier for bringing out some of the nicest rides to this year's BimmerCruise. Weather aside, the show went well and the turn out was spectacular considering the circumstances. We could of had the show at the same parking lot as last year, earlier on in the year too... but i'm trying to get away from parking lot shows. A request was made to have the grass cut days before the show... and they did, just not the section I wanted (we used). Anthony, I don't know what your problem is... you've had nothing good to say about me and everything I do from day 1; I don't care what your position is on this board. Grow up! If you can do better... then prove it.

Oops... :1nono: Randy, none of that here please. please deal with this in PM and not in public forum. Anthony's position here is highly respected as we have put many efforts into building this community.

We do not go on to Max literally bashing you or other admins/moderators. Easy there Tiger.

It was our pleasure to be part of the biggest BMW event in Toronto annually. I think there was a bigger turn out last year at Applewood though. What's wrong with parking lot shows? I mean grass is all good if the weather is beautiful and 30 degree weather.

We saw the cut grass on the other side of the lot the left side. We were surprised we ended up in the uneven part of the field. We figured you wanted the that other side. Oh well. next year.

I think I said 'overall organization lacking'.

To be honest, I was talking about the show, not you. In fact, I still don't know who you are! The fact that you took my criticism personally, justifies my suspicions. Chris pointed you at the very end of the show.

Moreover, your little screed is not important. What is, is that you learn something from honest suggestions. I'll be happy to supply some that would make the show better.

As for 'proving it'. Sure, we may just have to do that. I guarantee they'll be more sponsors, a warm day, more than one portolet that isn't a human disgrace, and grills enough to warm even the hardest hearts. Maybe even yours.

I would never want to see healthy discourse disappear from my board. I think it is a very positive thing. I take not one ounce of Empowerd's crtiticsm of me to heart. If somebody criticises my board, my magazine, my performances or my teaching, I say good for them. But there is a constructive way to do it, without ad hominem attacks. As such, I prefer constructive criticism to invective.

My comment obviously hit a nerve, and after my private discussions about specifics, maybe his fingers typed faster than the brains. Happened to all of us.

One of the 'problems' of a forum, is that by its nature, it begs the writer to offer an opinion. The question was not asked, true, but it's my forum, and I figured I would support the members (my comment was in keeping with much that was said by our folks publicly). Oh well, obviously the gentleman disagreed. He must have thought the organization not lacking. Good for him. But, I disagree.

In the spirit of fair play, I'll leave this open. If there is a piling on, or unspirited 'invective', I close this faster than Chris closes his wallet when the bill arrives and delete everything except my brilliant, incisive comments...:)

anyways back on topic,

Besides the weather we had the show was great for something that didnt need preregistration. Everything was set up pretty quick and seemed organized. I'm not saying this because of how my car placed, Im saying this because I've been involved in a lot of shows in the west coast from tiny community shows to HIN and other shows of that size. It was only the weather that really put a damper on the event. Imagine what the show would be like in July, nice hot weather where everyones willing to take their cars out and show. Even though the grass wasn't cut and the ground wasnt even, it didnt really matter. We're car enthusaists and not gardeners. I give the guys who put this up a thank you (and congrats to Eric for taking my 2 trophies..jk)
