go for it man....u will feel a big difference
I got a quote from that guy regarding the SSK + DSSR for my 328i and it is $480 shipped (included the 3% paypal charge). And he willing to declare the value as we like to. So it sounds like a good deal. woot It is a brand new kit so if ne1 interest, it is still available. BTW, ne1 already ahve it installed? ne feedback? heard the reverse gear will be very heavy and need 2 hands to shift it to reverse, is it true? since my wife will drive the car too, so I can't make it too heavy for her to shift the gear! :indiffere
So, no1 ever install UUC Evo3?

I haven't received mine yet. there's actually 2 other guys who bought it as well. we may do a group install in the near future. I'll keep you updated...
Mime is on order and I order the DSSR as well, hope it will remove all the sluggish feel of my tranny. woot So ne 1 have suggestion which shift knob I should get? I have the tan & wood combo and I want something shorter and heavier than the oem knob but I dun want metal one since it didn't match my interior and I dun want it burn my hand on summer.

Jersey, thx for the offer but aluminum hm..... it burns my hands is ok but if it burns my wife's hand then she will burn my ass! :^o: BTW, still think a leather or wood knob will match my interior better. :Idunno:

I think Sean is going to tray and install it himself.
Why don't we do a group install at Cross. Sam should give us a great deal if we bring in 3-4 cars for a SSK install.
I have a EVO 3 waiting for a install too....

I think we all bought off the same guy.
There are 2 more people we can add to the group install (Jeff and dinan 3).
I'll let you guys know when I receive mine.

They are, but I know they have done this install before, they actually sell UUC stuff too, Lou deals with UUC. Billy has one on his M5, the evo 3. I think Im going to get it done there, at least I know it will be done properly, unless we can get a group rate at Cross.

To install SSK is a simple job, IMO, it will be too much to spend for it install from engineered. Gilman Auto on Scarborough have installed tons of UUC SSk for E30, E36, E39, E46, M3...etc and they will only charge half the cost of engineered and still get the job done right. They are 1 of the most expensive chinese mechanic.
