It would be a day meet....
For those who haven't had Dim Sum, some Chinese restaurants serve it like a brunch or mid afternoon. Small dishes ordered a la carte containg between 2-4 pieces of lets' say pork dumplings, eggrolls, spring rolls, shrimp rolls or pan fried shrimp & pork etc. There's other weird or what I consider weird items on the menu. For the most part, the members that have attended have also not ordered the weird stuff so it's safe to say, we're not going to feel uncomfortable at the table. Each plate costs about $1.75 - 3.00 depending what you order and where you go. So with a good number of people attending, $12-15 will get you very full of feed.
Sushi meet... Sushi on 7. The place to be... just west of Kennedy Rd on Hwy 7. Lunch is something like $15 all you can eat quality sushi, at least good quality for a buffet. On the menu, it's not all raw stuff. There is cooked warm plates as well - chicken teriyaki, noodle dishes etc.
Just want to know who's SERIOUSLY interested. Please do not vote if you will not attend.
