Is it stickers or an embroidered patch. Stickers look cheap so do embroidered patches depending on the finish of the trim edges.
Also, if its stickers...how good is the adheisve backing?
But it looks nice.

reports are 6-8 months on the car in Cali. and Texas and no problems. The M is in a brushed finish.
The only thing that I'm not sure about is the red part. It might not look good with the red interior.

The headrest should look clean. It's close, but I say no. It's a little too much advertising.

I got them, and unless you are right up to them and I mean right up to them, you can't tell they are stickers, I think they look great, especially since my interior is grey. Cheap mod too, lol. I paid like $12USD for them. I have had them for a long time, and not problems with peeling or anything.

Now that you put it that way, it would look shyte if the reds didn't match. Look cheap.
Screw it. :thumbsdow

i dont think you should...even an embroidered patch would look a little off...i think the only way ill give you the thumbs up on my end is if you actually embroider the leather itself...no stickers...

Its $20 dollar mod, the chapest mod you can do, lol. Can't go wrong with that. From mine, and what i remember of IR interior(gorgeous colour for the interior by the way), the red on the sicker will be brighter and not as dark, not just because of the colour itself, but also because the sticker has a little sheen to it.

on the M3 forum, they actually had a group buy sort of thing for embroidered ones, you sent your headrests in, and they do the work, then back to you. It looked pretty good, but the only reason I didnt do it, is that the M was not slanted on one side, it was straight, don't know why they could not slant it. A good number of ppl did it and in turned out well actually. Price was not all that bad to if I recall correctly. Maybe we can get something like thats started for those interested here.
I am wondering what happen if that sticker peal off and stick to your hair or the color fading to your hair! Hm... a funny screen! :blaaaa:

seriously...do those decals dry out/discolour the leather or leave a mark? I second my nay vote. :thumbsdowI wouldn't assume so. It won't dry out, maybe disclour depending if the car is usually left out in the sun to bake more in particular the headrest with the decal on it.
The decal shouldn't be a problem to remove, inlcuding the sticky expired adhesive residue, but the discolouration if any, will not be repairable.

Well if they are vinyl stickers they shouldn't but I don't have first hand experience with them either.
Actually yesterday I spent a few hours taking off the warning stickers from the sun visors and the airbag warning label in the drivers side door jam. The tips and tricks that you can find searching these forums
Anybody with the fuzzy sunvisors (ZHP's M3's) can take the sticker off easy. Almost as easy as removing them from the vinyl sun visors.
I debadged the entire interior.... Now I'm thinking of headrest stickers :confused2

Congrats on the sticker removal. I knew there would be a way. I have to do mine this weekend. I keep forgetting.
Get a true colour print out of them and hold them against your red leather interior to see if there's a match or clash.

That's one think I keep on forgetting too. Might just be my last mod for the year!
As for those M3 skickers E, I'd say neh...you already have M3 on the outside badge, side grills, M door sils, M on the steering wheel, M on the shifter...M everywhere! M on the back of the head might be better tho! :D

DO IT and go on college street to el covento richo.....drag queen club......u will get owned!
on a serious note, I was watching overhauling tv show....you could put a plastic M3 emblem (same as rear left trunk lid one) in the headrest but could be dangerous in case of accident
