e46 cabriolet hardtop installation kit?

I am thinking about getting a hardtop and I heard I have to get the installation kit.

However when I took the trim piece in front of the convertible top compartment lid off I think the receptacle is already there (see pic)

What does everyone think?

Installation kit is for the wiring. The hard top has rear dome lights and rear window defroster. Physically you can attach the hard top without the kit, but those features will not work.

I will check out mine and let you know if it looks the same. Maybe you have the kit already installed!

Isn't there a Topaz Blue with 19" M3 reps with the hardtop as his sig on Fanatics. That thing looks schweeeeet.
