This is the same company. Looks like you can use this thing for the child seat too.

Sounds like an excellent product.
I try to lock my street belts as tight as I can at the track manually. Once you start moving they stay locked and you can pull them very tight.

Webbie and Cabrio,
Just keep in mind that this product or anything else that just tightens the lap belt solves only a small part of the problem; it keeps your lower body part planted but it is the movement/sliding of the upper body that most people have problems with at the track.
Several years ago I checked out and spoke with one of the local BWM instructors for whom Jon Dimoff (Raven) fabricated and welded a small bracket/attachment in his E46 M3 to install only the lap portion of a race belt - it was very discreet since it was a daily M3 with full factory interior (the instructor did not want to install the cage and Trillium does not allow any Scroth 4-point harnesses).
Anyway, the point is just like this product, he said it (tight lap belt) does keep you in your seat in some situations (for example, when going over the top of Corner 2 at Mosport and the body wants to continue moving "forward and up" while the car begins to roll down the hill), but does very little to prevent your upper body from sliding (at which point you want use the steering wheel for holding yourself in position instead of controling the car)
Does Schroth Quick Fit comes for SLK ?

the Schroth Autocontrol inertia reel with the combination of 4 point belts might be the best thing notwithstanding the rear mounting points...
