Hi,
I recently found out that BMW has this thing called 'TSB' (technical service bullitin) where they announce all the recalls. Do you guys know where to find this info on the internet?
I would be nice to know what recall or service BMW is doing on our cars so we can immediately take our cars to the dealership and get the problem solved immediately.
If anyone knows, please provide info.
Thanks,
B

Thanks too. If you bring this list into the dealer, will they know what you're talking about and will be willing to service it?

Yes they'll know ... you dont even need the list unless something they refuse to fix but on the bulletin ... just tell them to fix all possible TSB recalls

Yes, but only of the car is under warranty, no? Are not recalls mandatory, TSBs at the discretion of the consumer? Meaning if you have a TSB and its not under warranty, get out your CC!:(

No TSB is free even out of warranty.

Good news, consider the litany of TSBs.

Thanks Audiophilia! Your da man!
Now I don't have to be so concerned about missing a recall or any TSB that BMW issues.

Don't talk to me about recalls, I had to go in and have the dreaded M3 engine recall done, even though I waited to get a 2003 model because the issues were to be solved. Im not impressed with BMW and all these recalls their cars are having. My older brother has a 04 330 cab, very ncie car, he bought it at the same timeI got my car from Parkview, he lives in sunny Southern Cali no though, but anyways, Parkview has called my place at least 3 times about recall notices on his car.

Maybe it's just Parkview? :Idunno: I've been happy with their follow up in customer service perspective but there practices which I speculate are not as honest as one would think. IMO.

Im not ranting at Parkview, Im ranting at BMW, for having so many recalls on their cars. I have found Parkview to be a pretty good dealership most of the time.

:Idunno: nyeah... I am kinda. Service is good yes, but like I said, being charged for things and being led to believe they weren't covered under warranty, but finding out later they are covered... oh well. It's past.
