Do most of you use pressure bleeders?
I've done brake bleeding several different ways over the years...
From the 2 person pump & squirt, to the one person speed bleeder valves.
I was going to make up a pressure bleeder & was wondering.....
How do you keep the damn thing contamination fee between usage???

How about you clean it first before you use it again? Just pump a bit of new fluid through the bleeder.

Yeah I supose... :Idunno: guess I'm just a little anal...
I guess you could stick a plastic bag over the master cylinder cap.

If you store it in a sealed bag then you should be ok.

I use an air pressure bleeder.
It's a hose you connect to an air source on one side. There is a regulator in the middle to keep the pressure down to 12psi or so. The other end has a cap that screws onto the fluid reservoir. I remove the old fluid from the reservoir, add fresh superblue and pressurize. The only problem with this method is that you need to refill the reservoir after each rear wheel is bled. The advantage is that there is no mess after you are done.
