not too fond of it. The front looks like a cross of the Chrysler 300 and older Audis, the sides looks strikingly similar to the lines on the Acura TL. And the back tail lights looks like the old Acura 1.6EL.
The rims I think came from a design off the concept Audi Rosemeyer which I beleieve wasn't even close to making it to production .
Acutall if you stare at the front, it looks like this smiley :p with that big black grill.
I don't like the moulding at the bottom of the dorr where it breaks so the passenger & driver door don't clash. That "break" in the moulding takes away from the conitnuity of the lines on the car.
Car overall looks chunky.
I do however like the rear bumper with quad exhaust and black lower trim a la M5.
just my 2 cents.

I guess Audi wanted to match the new "ugly" trend that BMW seems to be pushing with the 5 and 7. The front of the new S4 looks like a dodge magnum and Cad 300. Why do German companies now want to make their cars look American or Japanese? :thumbsdow

Looks like just a facelift and not a complete body redesign. The panels still looks the same as the current A4 body. It's not bad except for the front. The front grill is overly exaggerated, IMO.

get the old style Eric~ ;)
I gotta agree.. that front does look like a 300M and the back a 7th gen civic! Yuck...
I think the previous generations (B5 and B6) look way better...
I'm biased, I just got a '99 A4 a few weeks ago.. hehe

You guys are being far too generous... looks like a Kia Amanti to me...

never did like how, visually, the current model audi a4/s4 (and this one as well) looks as if the wheels are not pushed out as far towards the corners as on previous models.
it's also why the new 5 series and 6 series look "off" to me - their noses appear to protrude so far beyond the front wheels.
one of the design cues that i like in the e36, e46, and now e90 3-series is how forward the front wheels are (serves dynamic purpose as well as probably being an engineering advantage and by-product of i6 engine orientation, size, and placement).

LOL! I was thinking of that. But I thought it might have been too much of a criticism against Audi but you're absolutely right Dutty.

I have to agree, what a horrible design, I hate the front grill. I'm sure it still has the 4.2 litre V-8 though ;)

Check out the "smoke" picture...generally the smoke should come from the tires, not from under the hood... :Idunno:

nope, not yet. and i'll leave it stock for now. It's got the suspension, audio and winter package. so it drives comparable to the civic on the modified suspension. but i dont really drive it like that anymore, i dunno, i'm more relaxed in driving it... maybe i've grown outta it now. the only thing i'd do to it next summer is put some rims on it. :)
