On top of Jersey's car breaking down, Oyster's car accident (sorry guys)..., here's incident #3 for the week.
My JB323i is done... front end...done. Lights...done...
my Dad took the car out this morning, and I already had a bad feeling when he pulled out the driveway, 1 hour later, he calls and says my Bimmer is done.
He's ok which is great and I'm relieved with all these freaking non-focused-ignorant drivers on the road. But he said the car is non driveable.
I have yet to get full details as I think he's at the collision centre now. My Dad said it was the other guys fault. :Idunno:
Well when all is said and done, see what insurance has to say, and how much repairs will cost etc., it's bye-bye 323i. I will be looking into selling the car depending how figures work out.

i hear your pain....I'm now convinced it's the change in temperature that is releasing oil from asphalt......which makes road slippery and people spin out. :crying:

Chris,
Is everybody OK?
I've been through that place just a few weeks ago and boy was it not fun. Everybody there looked grim and sad.
Is the car totaled?

In addition, why I'm thinkin of getting rid of this vehicle, it's already in its second accident. Minor ones, but nevertheless, an accident. I've lost count of how many times I've almost been hit, and I'm not exaggerating with that, I'm talking micro-millisecond swerves & braking to avoid these stupid fckuers on the road today.
We have this saying in Filipino culture, if you frequent near accidents/tragedy/bad luck, get rid of whatever may be causing it. i could tie a long list of unfortunate events since I got this car. So...I may me eliminating a bad seed very soon. But we'll see. I love my 323i. And I don't know what to feel about this right now.
Maybe the next one needs to be blessed and sprayed with Holy Water or something. And yes...if i do end up with another car, it will be our beloved BMW. Exactly the same, black on sand. i don't know what to hope for right now. Thanks for reading everybody. :(

Too bad drivers in this city can't be programmed to automatically adjust to driving conditions. People still think they can drive like the way they do in summer and still do it when it's raining or snowing. i don't blame road conditions or cars. i blame the drivers. IMO. 99% user error.

all is ok. I'm still waiting for a call from my Dad to hear the whole story. This sucks big time.

Thinking of you and your family, Chris.
Yes, we live in the city of crap drivers. No doubt about it. The tkts and accidents this group has been in/received recently is nuts!
Take a deep breath when you see your baby, check the damage, and go from there. You have spent a lot of time on your beauty. Be a shame to give it up now...if you need anything, just call me.

that is bad news Chris, I feel for you...
let's hope this is the last one among us...
if it is a write-off at least take the parts off so you can either sell them or use them on the next car.

Thanks for the comfort Glenn. I really do hope this is the last, but thats being idealistic. until driving schools, some... are monitored and we all know what happens why all these fckuers have liceneses which i care not too mention, things will always be this way. How to avoid acidnets, don't drive. Or move to Nanuvut or something.
If the car is a write-off, the parts will definetly come off transferred over to another e46 black on sand sedan a-matic.

Thanks Anthony. yes I've spend a lot of time on her. I can't even count the number of coats of Pinnacle Souveran put on that thing and all the labour detailing time invested. it's almost insane.
Ooohhhh, I hope my Phosphyres are ok... :crying: And the friggin clears which took more than a year to get... :crying: :crying:
We'll see. As soon as I find out details, I'll post it.

So sorry to hear about that Chris :0 ...I'm glad that your dad is alright cause that's more important than the car of course. You really put a lot of effort into modding the car over the past couple of months...poor you. Hopefully you'll be able to collect a good deal of $ from the other insurance company...the person who was at fault... to help you out with your new car(and your insurance should not go up at all cause it wasn't your fault) . Let us know if we can help out!

Glad your dad is alright.
Funny thing about parking in the garage, on the weekend an empty box fell on my hood.
Not much damage though, except for a few scratches because I think there was grit on the box. No dents, and I think Zaino will hide it.

Oh Sh*#!!! Dude please tell me that someone clipped him and that he did not slam into some guy. The difference being that whenever you hit someone from behind it is considered following too close which puts fault on pops...in any event glad to hear that everyone is OK because cars can be replaced, people can't. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help, from salvage to finding a new car to insurance questions whatever...that's what we are all here for.
