wohoo! is winter! anyone know how a 20 years old can get started in hockey? i never played in a league before but i always play for fun in highschool at the outdoor rank ... hey regin8er is your team still looking for members?

You're a little late. The winter season starts in like mid-September.

I have pick-up at 7am on Saturdays if you think you can get up that early. It STARTS at 7am, meaning you have to get up much earlier, plus it's at the Ice Gardens at Birchmount and Kingston Rd. so I don't think you live close to there.

really!? nooo!!! i been waiting since last spring! i guess i am going to have ot wait another year and register earlier next year :( i found a rollerblade hockey league that starts in january ... do u know if inline hockey use the same equipment as ice hockey besides skates/rollerblades?

You can use the same equipment, but keep these things in mind:

However, your equipment will not last as long with roller hockey because falling on a surface with friction is more damaging.

You don't need the best hockey equipment for roller hockey because the ball is no where near as hard as a puck, and cheaper stuff is GENERALLY lighter weight. I use my older equipment for roller hockey.
