This year's meets

Hey guys...

We need to plan the meets properly this year...in order to follow the daily meets with well organized nightly events...basically we need to go away from the typical scene of 15 guys with bimmers sitting together to 15 guys + many girls hanging out and then following it up with different nightly events throughout the weekends...let me hear your thoughts

We've had many well-organized events, and a bazillion impromptu events.

Why don't you start the ball rolling, and lay out a schedule. Or, even organize a single meet...we'll be there

I totally agree with Caddyshk, a family friend owns an Apple Auto Glass in the area and he told me that the majority of his customers are victims of break-ins at Yorkdale who drive high end cars.

What's the deal with Yorkdale? People have told me about car getting stolen there all the time? Is this true? I figure with so much foot traffic, it'd be kinda hard to jack a car without anyone seeing, plus I see the security guys driving around quite frequently.

I would have thought that the location would prevent the undesirables from hanging in the lot. After all, there's the 401 to the N, the Allen to the E and mostly industrial/commercial to the W of Yorkdale. From what I know, the area immediately S is not that bad. Plus, if it's people jacking cars, they'd be pros who would be successful in getting the new expensive toys like yours and not the local ghetto.

If anything, I'd be more worried about Fairview Mall with the public housing just immediately N of the mall. A friend of mine in the high school days had first hand exp. of the public housing just N of Fairview.

Ivan will stay outside to look after our cars haha. But seirously, no one is going to do anything to your car when a bunch of bimmers parked together. It's the cheaper cars that get stolen and harassed because most of them dont have alarms. Thiefs are scared when they see that red light blinking in our cars lol.
