I guess we can start car colour opinions thread here. be interesting. No arguements please. Stay on topic and say why you chose your colour.
What's on your mind? Did you choose your car colour case it's your favourite? easy to maintain/appearance-wise? no other choice?
I chose jet black cause it rules. it's the best. if you can keep it clean, it shows you love your car. And it's so elegant and classy. I like the solidity (is that even a word) of the all black...it's me. I can't see myself driving an LSB or TB or PY. A little to bright for me.
My next choice of colour for a car would be steel grey, like the Aston Martin DB7. I like Carbon black too.
I'm not racist to other colours, I have a coloured tv.

Jet black..nothing really close in terms of looking great and classy. Most people love the black but choose otherwise only for the cleaning issues. I'd take a car that looks a little dirty most of the time but can look AMAZING for those times when you really need it to (clean)!!
BMWs=black
If I had a ferrari, it'd propbably be red, Astin Martin- steel grey, minivan- who cares?, etc. different styles suit different colours. :cool:

Favourite colour is blue...I love all shades of blue...i love navy blue the best tho. For a car...I wanted a classy, sophisticated look so i opted for orient blue cause i love dark metallic colours and the shine it projects in the light. I thought the orient blue was really unique to BMW...it was the perfect colour i was looking for and i couldn't find it anywhere else. I'm sure everyone has their own taste in colours, so as long as you are happy with your car...that's all that matters.

Metalic Sapphire black is for BMW connaisseur as most people won't see the different with other black. Agreed it's more rare then TVM

look guys and gals, we all know that Steel Grey is the best colour. It's close enough to the original M3 show car and looks hot clean or dirty. I've had Jet Black in my other BMW and while it looks amazing super clean, for everyday living it just doesn't stay that way and when you are driving a dirty black car around, you just hate it.

steel blue metallic ... on the days when i went to look for the cars .. it was almost dark and no sun .. so it looked awsome under the lighting (kinda like steel gray) .. went home.. checked on the bmw site .. looks beautiful + the only 330 ci left in lot
i would perfer alpine white if i had the choice
btw .. they have a new colour for 05 .. so kind of gold/brown/olive green ? it looks sick on the build your own thingy .. than again .. so did the steel blue

If I could do it again, it would be Le Mans or Estoril Blue. Interlogas Blue is hot too.

Pej,
Do it again. Order a individual 05 M3 with the ZCP package and transfer all the mods over. Hmmmmm sounds like a plan for LeMans blue :D
