it won't open form the inside or it won't open at all? if it can't open from the inside maybe the child safety lock is on

had my whole locking system changed after the famn damily was locked in!!! the new one was bogus, too. the dealership was so embarrased, they took one out of a new coupe sitting right in the showroom...works a treat:)

that's really strange Magnus. get it checked out...I don't think we have child safety locks on coupes...

actually, i just checked the manual and confirmed there is no child safety lock system. i guess since it's a coupe...they assume that children won't be sitting up front.

oppsss ... i should read more carefully next time ... didn't know it was the front door and didn't know it was a coupe :blaaaa: in that case i think is a known problem at the dealer ... one of my mom's friend got a 330ci and her door won't open after 3 months ... she brought it in to the dealer and the dealer told her that is a known problem :Idunno:

That's brutal. I thought our cars were supposed to be high quality. I would have thought "working doors" would have been included. Good luck Magnus.

Ant- your family was locked INSIDE your car? Wasn't that an old joke somewhere?? :D

Ha, Ha. I guess as long as the dealership promptly fixes these silly problems, it's still worth it, huh? :)

Yeh, our cars have lots of little problems that creep up from time to time. Get the dealer to fix it under warrenty. There were a few small cracks inside the front emblem on the hood. Got it changed out no problem.

The funny thing is that in general nothing will go wrong, but then I go to the dealership for some tiny thing that's wrong and I will have to make like 5 visits in a row.

This has happened 2 times over 2.5 years.

So true...I get something fixed. Something is usually wrong with the job or it affects something else and youhave to go back. DOnt think I ever got something done quickly and on one visit. Weird.
